I chose Scorsese.

But I always thought it was cool how Hitchcock would do cameos in all of his movies.

Tarantino does it in atleast most if not all, but way after Hitchcock.

Out of a tough list, I'd probably say Scorsese.

I've seen a greater fraction of Kubrick's movies compared to those of Scorsese, the great Alfred Hitchcock, and Kurosawa, although I can't say for sure whether Kubrick is my favorite.

I've been meaning to do an Akira Kurosawa binge here for a few years now, to be ahead of the curve, before my demographic (westerner anime fans) "discover" Kurosawa and spark a resurgence and renewed interest in his movies :) You all know it's coming! Japanese cinema has been creeping up behind Hollywood for decades now. Japanese directors and audiences are ofc huge fans of our movies as well, so especially the newer stuff (modern Japanese movies, the past decade maybe) should be super interesting, and enlightening, and entertaining (not to mention maybe superfluously: memorable & attention-grabbing)

..

Cheers!
