Because AI is getting marketed as a writing assistant for these sorts of things. Even Zoom has recently started to integrate such an "assistant" as an option available to you.

They probably are nowadays. But they've always come off as robots because they just madlib some corpo bullshit together with generic feel-good terms and other synergy paradigms for maximum productivity calculationisms.

I haven't really noticed until recently when I started reading a bunch of troll AI responses on here. My brain got primed to recognize it, and then our CEO sent the quarterly performance email. My brain was instantly like "that's AI."

I have been hearing ads from grammarly about how it has suggestions to improve your sentence structure so I see what you're saying.

the ways by which you pick up on it will go the way of how it could never handle hands or eyes or things like that, eventually.

for now they almost always write a thesis statement.
