It was definitely a little bit before we got a memory card for the PS1. >_> I remember having to rely on the password system for Crash 1. I think what prompted us finally getting one is when we were playing Tekken 3, and got excited when we unlocked a new character. We were all like "Oh wow, leave the playstation on overnight!"
