Not only did she just leave while mostly in a bad place, but she never even returned for a cameo to the end...and its hard not to see that as the actor having soured on the show. ... It is great at first and an incredibly enjoyable watch. After awhile it is just an enjoyable watch. Then after even longer it is just plain stupid but still enjoyable enough to keep watching. Then towards the end you are just sticking with it to finish it.

The US version seemed like a great exercise in human misery and a great way to see how NOT to live your life. mariolover2 posted... It evolved into a poverty porn sitcom with characters not learning. iirc family needs a restraining order on Frank.and while I mostly agree with this sentiment, what really made the show hard to watch is the fact that there's people who are living like that today and it's not a story. ...
