An idea I had for Spider-Man 3 would be if the entire first half of the game, you play as villains instead of Peter or Miles. For some plot reason, have both Spider-Men out of the city for a while. Maybe they are in Europe You control several villains. Maybe the Sinister Six, and each villain has their own unique missions and gameplay abilities. First half is you seeing the Sinister Six conquer NYC. Then at the midway point, when NYC is dominated, Peter and Miles come home, and then you play as them to take down the characters you just built up. Imagine a NYC totally under villain control when the 2nd half begins ... Copied to Clipboard!

I feel like that wouldn't really work unless you completely overhauled side missions only for that part, but then it'd put a time limit on side missions that you wouldn't be able to warn players of without spoiling the story.
