Sophie lives in England. And Joe and the kids are in NYC.

She is trash.

Men are routinely fucked over in these kind of situations but Im rooting for the Jonas anyway.

I wonder if this was something she decided to do after she and Taylor Swift went out. Like was this Taylor Swift's idea? lol Or something they talked about?

I will say Im not surprised they are getting divorced. She was too young when she got married (23, he was 30). He shouldve known that marrying someone still in her early 20s would turn out that way so hes not blameless either.

if their marriage was in Florida and their marriage license is Florida issued you have to file where you were married legally.

Theres no wrong or right side. You say the kids are with Jonas, but pretty damn sure theres a nany or grandparent taking care of them. Hes also touring and working.

I'm certain you would be saying the same thing if the genders were reversed, and that the older 30 year old woman isn't blameless too right? That she should have known better to date a man who's 23 who allegedly likes to party and pawn off parenthood responsibilities.

Anyone who uses the media to inform their spouse of a divorce and then runs a media smear campaign before said spouse even knows what is going on is probably a total POS, but I'll hold back judgement in the off chance that Sophie is at fault.

Joe's case to keep custody in the US is looking weak since Sophie's team is establishing a case of habitual residence in England and the US has recognized The Hagues rules on habitual residence as recent as 2020.

It's the very fact that the first bit of news about this was him implying she was an absentee mother because he's been "the only one taking care of the kids and he's been on tour" when (a) he has a nanny and (b) she was working a job in the UK, the first since they'd gotten married. And then that she was a huge party girl who drank all the time when she's had two kids in the last three years.

Everything his PR has said about Turner is just so transparently calculated and they started it up before the divorce was even announced. It reeks of horseshit.

How many male celebrities are shamed for touring/working abroad and partying while their wife takes care of the kids?

Its not just one pic. If she accepts pics with strangers, shes going to have to accept them with everyone and it would take up a lot more than 20 seconds. Leave celebrities alone imo.

Was she alone or waiting for someone? As someone who knows a number of famous people, if they are out with family or friends, they probably don't want to deal with fans. It tends to ruin the atmosphere of the group if random people keep coming up to you.

You kind of sound entitled if you don't understand that celebrities are people too and they don't always want to be bothered when they're out with others.

I told you, it was just us, there was no one else around. For a C list actress whose X-men movie bombed at the box office, she sure came out as a diva. I dont care about celebs at all, but im a huge Asoiaf fan and it would have meant a lot to me.

A lot of celebrities have a 'no photos, no exceptions' rule. It's intrusive and time consuming to give into all these requests.

Actors appear in movies. You can chose to watch them or not. That's the whole relationship. You aren't owed anything beyond that.

In the US men are often screwed over still when it comes to custody, and from reading the article it seems like the UK laws are even worse. Doubt it play out like normal considering they both can hire entire teams of lawyers but w/e.

I will not take either side as it is 2 people richer then hell who will likely pawn their kids off on a staff of nannies and sitters because they will routinely have better things to do then be an actual parent. Only real loser of any of this is the children and that is unfortunate.
