Its been north of 26% since I first applied at 18 years old. They lowered it to 20.6%! Not sure if thats good, but its certainly a lot better!

Additionally, they gave me a promotional 0.9% apr until Dec 31.

I always pay my credit cards every week and dont carry a balance, but Im going to be making some big purchases soon and I dont want to dig into my savings too much, so this makes me feel pretty good.

They literally call you something like a bum or a rat. Look it up. Credit Cards are that evil. They hate people who don't accrue debt.

I didnt know you could just call and ask for a better deal, but I read on Reddit that you could. It worked!

They can call me whatever they want. Using my credit card is like getting free money

The lowest I've ever had was like 5% from a credit union, 3k limit.

I had a Discover card that was eating me up in interest. I called them to ask if they could help me out. They gave me a 6month deal that got my minimum from $170/mo down to $60/mo.

Well I then put everything I could each month. After 5 months I paid it off, canceled and cut up the card last month.

Who is they? Like is this a CS term or are CEOs throwing this around?

Im going to make about 11k$ of luxury purchases this month, and I will happily pay a hundred dollars to know that I dont have to take that all out of my savings at once. Peace of mind in case of some emergency is worth it, even if I dont come out ahead on rewards.

Deadbeat, but it's not like they don't make any money off of you because they still charge absurd transaction fees to retailers to make their money.

I love discover. Thats who I bank with. They are always so nice and actually helpful.

Got some vacation days approved so I just bought two round trip flights and a week of hotels
