I honestly thought for a long time that Draco would turn good like Vegeta and be Harry's friend. The fact it never happened is kinda lame I think

I think so

They're friendly-ish during the epilogue. And his son and Harry's son become friends.

I personally would have had one of the main three die. Probably Ron. Everything would have had more of an impact.

I think Harry just gives Malfoy a little nod at the train station like they aren't enemies anymore but they don't hang out in the same social circles either. And Ron still has a rivalry w/ their family as he tells his kid to do better than Malfoy's kid

Malfoy should have ended up in Azkaban-- he's still fighting for Voldemort in the final battle and nearly causes Harry to not be able to save the world. Plus, he's guilty of multiple counts of attempted murder. And he's just a worthless bigoted shit stain.
