My wife drove a school bus for a couple years while the kids were too young for school and the districts tend to have no fucking clue what they are doing when it comes to bussing because usually some dipshit with absolutely 0 transportation experience comes in and wants to make a name for themselves or cut costs and they end up absolutely fucking everything over.

They simply dont have enough drivers. Its a nationwide problem (well, not in California because we just dont provide busing).
