Not sure why I was tagged, but looking it over. Im going say its a light grey area at best. the first shot to the back was fine, it was in defense of his mothers life. However once he ran and was no longer a threat, there was no need to shoot again (and the mother saying to shoot and kill him isnt good either). Thing is, being a 13 year old kid, he doesnt have the license to carry training his mother has, even though she was in the wrong with her comments as well. cant charge the mom as she didnt shoot the guy, and the kid doesnt have the training to know when to stop. Surveillance video outside the restaurant shows the teen enter the restaurant, and cell phone video from inside shows Brown punching Hood at least three times in the head and face. Ok, clearly self-def- Brown fled the restaurant, but the teen followed him outside. He fired more shots after Hood told him to shoot and kill him, prosecutors said. Murder.
