but i had to work too hard and did nothing but study engineering

yeah but once i got in there's like this whole system where, after getting into the uni itself, you also have to apply for the major you want within the first 2 years and i didnt get into any of my ideal choices since all the usual nerdy suspects were significantly harder (like, orders of magnitude) to get into than the uni itself

it all worked out though

but it's kinda funny that this worldwide top 5 school for CS is also home to like, lifelong B-students in a lot of the liberal arts departments

any university is good so long as its internationally accredited

UCF, #137/443 in america according to google. So not top tier, but within the top 3rd of american colleges.

Had to drop out though, wasn't really focused and switched majors a few of times. They cut off my financial aid before I finished.

Yeah. After I graduated and started interviewing, I often heard then say "the kid from ___ is here". And then I would completely underwhelm them when I started talking.
