"Alright, then," you say, "we'll make sure you can change the truck into a chopper."

The Titans East "E-Car" as well as the Titans South "S-Truck" head on ahead and you watch the street traffic.

"Okay, start up the transformation," you tell Kole.

Kole presses whatever buttons and flips whatever switches she needs to, and the process begins. Obviously, the first thing is the tires being tucked away to be replaced by the landing skids. The truck bed extends to be the tail, complete with producing a rotor, rudder, and stabalizers.

A car turns the corner but slows to a stop as they see the still-transforming vehicle in front of them.

"Sorry, sorry," you tell them. "It'll just be another moment."

From the truck's roof, the mast emerges, and out come the main rotor blades themselves. Kole and Gnark give you thumbs up, you and Raven give the thumbs up back, and the rotors start moving. You and Raven go back to the door as the wind gets blowing and the T-Copter takes off.

"Thank you for waiting," you say to the car.

The car finally continues on, and you bring the Toddler Titans to your very normal car.

"Oh, wait," Raven says. "How are we supposed to get the Toddler Titans and their things to the tower? Your car is, well, a normal car, and Shadowfax is a motorcycle. Even with a sidecar, that's not going to be enough."

"Hmm... That's all true. Should've had the others join us in going to my place. But okay, we can all go to my place, the Toddler Titans get their luggage, we all go to the coast together. Raven will use magic to fly the Toddler Titans all across the water, then I go back to get Shadowfax so that I can cross the water."

"That should work," Raven says.

You and the Toddlers get in the car, same as before dinner. Raven flies Bobby and you drive home. You pull into the garage, exit the car with the Toddlers and enter the main house. The Toddlers gather up the sleeping bags and their luggage. They pack their things, hurry back into the garage with you, and Raven takes off with Bobby once again.

It takes a bit longer to get to the water than the restaurant, but it's still a smooth trip. Raven is already waiting with Bobby as you pull up. The Toddlers file out, you make sure they have everything, and then Raven makes a large platform with her mana. The five of them fly across the water with that while you drive back home.

A call comes in on your Titan communicator as you wheel Shadowfax out.

"Hey, Rorek," Raven says. "Good news, the others finished up with Sportsmaster and the ice siblings."

"Wonderful," you say. "Then perhaps we can all relax with..."

"A movie. Maybe some popcorn or cocoa."

"Yeah, that sounds like fun," Raven says. "See you soon."

The call ends and you take off on Shadowfax. You make only a little better time than in the car, and you go right onto the water to ride to the tower.

When you walk into the living room, the popcorn is already popping and the group seems to be discussing movies.

"C'mon, we can still get another Christmas movie in," Aqualad says. "What's not to like about Frosty the Snowman?"

"But 2001: A Space Odyssey is so good," Hot Spot says.

"You just like the artsy fartsy kind of sci-fi," Blue Beetle says. "Give me something thrilling with my space travel. Like, even a Star Trek movie is better than 2001."

The Toddler Titans are all yawning, while still munching on popcorn.

"Maybe you three should turn in for the night," Raven says to them. "C'mon."

Raven takes Timmy by the hand while carrying Teether while Melvin and Bobby follow her to the door.

"Let me help you get them ready for bed," you say to Raven.

"Really?" she asks.

"Yes, really," you say. "It'll be more efficient. You and Melvin can go to one bathroom, I'll get the boys to the other."

"That would save time," Raven says.

You all leave the living room together, and split up, you and the boys going right. This is your first time in this bathroom on this side of the tower, and find it is the mirror image of the other one. The boys bring out their toothbrushes and you help Teether apply toothpaste.

"Make sure to get every tooth," you tell them.

"Mm-hmm," the two say while nodding.

They keep brushing for another minute, then spit and rinse. You lead them from this side of the tower to where Raven's room is, and see Raven, Melvin and Bobby walking up.

"With everyone else in the guest rooms," Raven says, "you three can use my room to sleep."

She opens the door, the Toddlers excitedly hurry inside, but then stop in their tracks.

"What's wrong?" Raven asks.

"Um," you say. "It might be the dcor."

Raven looks at the four-eyed Thalia and Melpomene, the pentagonal mirror, lamps hanging from the ceiling, as well as the chest of drawers and treasure chest.

"Okay, good point," Raven says. "Um, well, I guess we can just let everyone know the Toddlers will be using a guest room."

You all move on towards the guest room, which appears to be all the girls were staying, going by how all the Santa dresses from the other night left on the beds.

"I'll just move some of these over..." Raven says as she picks up the ones Jinx and Argent were wearing. "Melvin gets her own bed, the boys can use the same one."

The Toddlers get in the beds as ordered, and Bobby stays by Melvin's bedside.

"Good night, you three," Raven says.

"Good night, Raven," the three reply.

You and Raven exit and close the door.

"I think you should stay the night," you tell her. "That way you can see them off in the morning."

"Really?" Raven asks.

"Of course," you say. "Who knows how long it'll be until you get to see them again. Even if it's just next year for another holiday, that's still a long time."

"That's true," Raven says. "Besides, you and I can have New Year's."

"Oh, we still need to invite the others to our New Year's Eve party," you say.

"Right," she says. "We've still got time, we can worry about that in a couple days."

You and Raven head back to the living room, and it seems the movie decision was made, the group is watching a Christmas movie after all, and it's Frosty the Snowman, the one Aqualad suggested.

You go to the kitchen counter and to what has become a hot cocoa station.

You add the little marshmallows and some whipped cream before putting in the spoons and going to where Raven sits on the couch. You hand her a mug, sit beside her, and start eating whipped cream out of the mug.

There must've been some magic,
In that old silk hat they found~.
For when they placed it, on his head,

Fro~sty the Snowman~,
Was alive as he could be~.
And the children say, he could laugh and play,
Just the same as you and me...!

Frosty holds a broom and leads the children on a parade like the drum major at the front of the band.

Thumpety thump-thump,
Thumpety thump-thump.
Look at that Frosty go.
Thumpety thump-thump,
Thumpety thump-thump.
Over the hills of snow.

Speaking of a marching band, taht's exactly who they come across, and they're playing the song on their brass instruments. Townsfolk are distracted seeing a walking snowman, causing two adults to run into each other, arms full of Christmas presents, and then a barber accidentally cuts part of his customer's mustache rather than the hair on his head.

Down~ to~ the village,
With a broomstick in his~ hand,
Runnin' here 'n' there,
All aroun' the square,
sayin' "Catch me if you can!"

"See?" Aqualad says. "This is fun."

"Maybe if the Toddler Titans were still awake," Blue Beetle grumbles. "We're all older than this. What's the point of Frosty the Snowman?

"Well," Aqualad says after sipping some cocoa, "I just figured we all fight crime and have such stress in our lives, where even today, the day after Christmas, some of us were needed to stop it. We don't need to be using pretend worlds filled with those same stresses as entertainment. This is much more lighthearted and carefree."

"There's still a villain in this, isn't there?" Robin says. "The mean magician whose magic hat brought Frosty to life, right?"

"Yes, but like, that's not as serious as what we deal with."

"Guess not," Robin says.

The magician, "Professor Hinkle," isn't the only problem. Though still winter time, the temperature rises above freezing, putting Frosty at risk. The kids want to keep him in one piece, so the only solution is to get him further north. That means getting on a train, hence the little parade through town. but since they can't pay for tickets, Frosty, Karen, and Hocus Pocus the rabbit who belongs to mean Prof. Hinkle, sneak aboard.

They get on a refrigerator car with ice cream and cakes. But between that and going north to the colder climate, Karen is the one now in danger. They wait for the train to stop at a crossing with another train, and get out in search of warmth. Karen is asleep at this point, and Hocus gets the woodland creatures to make a fire.

However, this fire might not be enough. Hocus goes in search of Santa Claus, who can save Karen and bring Frosty to the North Pole. However, Hinkle finds them and extinguishes the flame!

"He's gonna let a girl die of hypotermia just for a stupid hat?" Raven says.

Frosty and Karen flee, find a greenhouse, and Karen gets inside to warm up. Frost decides to join her, to "lose some weight," but Hinkle locks them both inside! Now Frosty's going to melt faster!

Hocus returns with Santa! But it is too late, for Frosty is now a puddle. Santa comforts Karen, saying Frosty is "made of Christmas snow and will return every winter." Upon opening the door, the wind rebuilds Frosty! But before putting the hat back on Frosty, Hinkle demands his hat back. Santa tells Hinkle that he'll never get another Christmas present again if he takes his hat back.

Hinkle begs Santa to reconsider, and Santa promises that if Hinkle acts nicer, and even writes a formal apology, Santa will bring him a new hat. Hinkle accepts that, hurries home, and Frosty is brought back to life. Then Santa returns Karen home and brings Frosty to the North Pole. As Santa promised Karen before, he promises again that Frosty will return every year for Christmas.

Credits begin to roll, and we time skip to next year, where Frosty returns and leads another parade. This time, Hocus, the traffic cop, the townsfolk, the animated form of narrator Jimmy Durante, and even the redeemed Prof. Hinkle and his new hat, are part of the procession. And as the parade ends, Frosty boards Santa's sleigh and they fly off to the North Pole, Frosty himself singing, "I'll be back on Christmas Day!"

"And I will see everyone else another time," you say as you stand up.

"Aw, you're going already?" Raven asks.

"Yes," you say, "the restaurant has been going on without me during the holidays so I'm going to get back to work tomorrow. It was wonderful meeting everyone and spending time together."

"It was good meeting you, too," Blue Beetle says.

"Have a good night," Kole says.

"Gnark gnark!" Gnark adds.

You give Raven a kiss on the forehead then exit the living room. You ride down the elevator to the garage and back to Shadowfax, to then ride back to 176 Ledyard. You brush your teeth, shower off, and dress for bed.

The next morning, looking West towards Titans Tower, you're fortunate enough to see the other Titans leave for home. The Titans East "E-Ship" flies this way, though south of your house.

As the days go by, you get back into the swing of things at the restaurant, and all is well. You and Raven discuss a New Year's Eve party with the home Titans and naturally they're up for it.

The easy thing to do is to just have it at the tower. Plenty of space there for just the six of you, and you're the only one who has to travel anywhere.

"Will your team be okay with you leaving early?" Raven asks. "You did spend a lot of time off for the holidays."

"Me leaving early is still better than being gone all day," you say. "I'll stay until the dinner rush is over, and then I'll join you all at the tower."

"Any ideas for dinner that night?" Beast Boy asks. "It won't be much of a party without food."

"Yeah, but we could get food ourselves," Raven says sternly.

"Thank you, Raven," you say. "You five can decide on what to have, I'll bring some sparkling cider to have with the New Year's countdown."

"That sounds good," Raven says. "See you then."

You and Raven kiss each other on the cheek as you head out again.

On the day of New Year's Eve, the restaurant has smooth sailing. The same amount of people are there for breakfast, and the lunch rush is about the same. But the dinner rush is the standout. Being a holiday, a lot more people want to have dinner out before staying up late.

On top of that, you get quite a lot of special orders that you whip together yourself. Jewel Butter Seafood Bowl, French Curry Lobster Rice, Chicken Egg Tempura Don, Roast Beef Frittata, African Ramen, and even Karaage.

"Well hello there," Huntley Shatkin says as he walks up.

"Ah, Huntley, hello," you say. "Happy New Year's."

"Happy New Year's," he says. "Things are pretty busy in here, looks good."

"Thanky you, it certainly is," you say.

"In fact," Huntley says, "you could say it's rather... hot tonight."

"Uh-huh," you say. "And you're being much more vague than when you were The Burger King, but I'm sure I can come up with something."

You go with Twice-cooked pork. You simmer pork belly in seasoned water. The mix of salt, ginger, garlic cloves, star anise and "red date" jujubes soaks into the meat before you then take it out, slice it up, and stir fry it in a wok. You separately stir fry cabbage, bell peppers, onions, and scallions, then put them together in one wok before adding a sauce made from Shaoxing rice wine, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, chili bean paste, and tianmianjiang bean paste.

"Here you are," you say to Huntley. "Sichuan style, Twice-cooked pork."

"Oooh," he says. "That sauce makes it very red."

Huntley uses his fork to poke at the meat, and finds it very tender. He eats it up, along with some of the onions.

"Whew~!" he says. "That hits quickly. And strongly, too."

"Good, right?" you ask.

"Oh, definitely. Whew. Got any milk?"

"Of course," you chuckle.

You get a tall glass and pour Huntley a drink. You hand that over and he chugs over half of it.

"I'm gonna need some more," he says, catching his breath.

"Of course," you say. "Free refills here at the Magical Melting Pot."

"Good, because otherwise, I'm going to be melting," Huntley says.

Refill after refill, Huntley makes it through the Twice-cooked Pork. He is sweaty, out of breath, but content.

"Thank you," Huntley says.

"You're welcome," you say.

Huntley pays the check and gives a generous tip before leaving.

"Hey, Chef," Sibbie says. "Someone wants to special order."

"Well alright," you say. "What would they like?"

"They saw Huntley having that spicy dish and said, 'I'll have what he's having.'"

You chuckle and get to work on another Twice-cooked Pork.

The dinner rush subsides, the special orders stop rolling in, and you prepare to depart. You grab a couple bottles of sparkling cider, and see Danita assessing the desserts.

"Chef," she says, "would you like take take one of these? We need to finish them off before the night is over, but they aren't really moving."

"Hmm, I suppose the Titans would love something," you say. "I'll take the..."

Danita puts a plastic lid over that and bags it up for you. You thank her and head out on Shadowfax.

"Good evening, everyone," you say as you walk in. "I hope- Oh... What in the world?"

The kitchen area is a mess as Cyborg is spraying down the oven.

"Oh, uh, hey, Rorek," Cyborg says with nervous laughter. "Um, I guess our roast beef is a bit more roast than beef."

"We still have corn," Beast Boy says.

"Oh yeah, it was real hard opening the can," Cyborg retorts.

"Not to worry, gentlemen," you say as you hurry over. "We can salvage this."

You look at the roast, and see it is indeed burnt.

"Luckily, cooking counts as damage on the meat," you say. "So with some Restorative magic, we can bring this back to what it was before."

You cast a Restorative spell and get the meat out of the burnt range and into a more...

"I hope you don't mind medium," you say. "I felt it'd be the best level for the roast."

"No, that's what I was going for," Cyborg says. "Thanks!"

The roast is brought out of the oven, Cyborg cuts some slices, and he finishes up the gravy.

"Wait, where're the others?" you ask.

"There was a mishap with the mashed potatoes," Cyborg says. "Raven and Starfire are washing up while Robin is getting more potatoes."

"Well, alright," you say.

Speaking of which, Robin returns and has a shopping bag in hand.

"I just got some instant mashed potatoes," he says, sounding rather frustrated. "It's crazy out there."

"So long as you made it," Cyborg says.

"Here, let me take care of those," you say.

"No, that's alright," Robin says. "You've done a lot of cooking for us. Plus, I think I can handle instant mashed potatoes."

"In that case," you say, "I'll..."

"... slice the cake."

You bring out the Oreo cookie cake, which is already missing three-eighths. You have to figure out the remaining five-eighths evenly for six people.

One-eighth is 45 degrees, so what's left is 225 degrees. That means each slice would have to be 37.5 degrees. Well, the easiest cut would be the halfway point, so you eyeball it at what you hope is 112.5 degrees. You cut the cake, then take each new half to determine how to cut those into three pieces.

You again eyeball the slices, cut them and feel mostly confident that they're all 37 to 38 degrees. You plate each of them, and also get glasses for the cider.

The door opens again and you look over to see the ladies return.

"Rorek!" Raven says before floating over. "Oh, where'd the cake come from?"

"The restaurant needed to get rid of cakes so they wouldn't just be thrown away," you say. "You're okay with Oreos, right?"

"Yeah," she says. "The roast looks good."

"Yes, Cyborg did excellent work," you say.

"And the corn looks good, right?" Beast Boy says, smiling proudly over his big serving bowl.

"Yes, Beast Boy," she says. "The corn looks good, too."

Everyone has a plate of roast beef, corn, mashed potatoes, and rice. You really do enjoy the corn, it has a good amount of salt and butter.

"Good mashed potatoes," Raven says to Robin. "What kind did you get?"

"Idahoan," Robin says.

"That's a good brand," Raven says.

As dinner continues, Cyborg turns on the television, and puts on...
