My favorite part of JRPGs often times is the beginning of them.

I don't know why. I just like using a wooden stick to wack a slime for 2 damage. Get like 2 exp and 3 gold for winning.

A townsperson hands you a free medical herb and it feels so.....significant! Like that is high value to me at this moment!

If i somehow know ill like the game then sure. If i dont know then i dont know if itll be good or how long it takes to get good.

Yes, I have this problem too, games can take a lot of effort to learn and get into, at least the ones I really like and sometimes it feels like too much to deal with and so I put it off.

But this I think is related to an undiagnosed condition I have as it's not just videogames that it affects, so this is probably only a me thing. And its hard to explain and put into words.

What is it for you TC, what are the thoughts involved.

I resonate with these two, I go back to games I know well often because it's easy and I can get back into it quickly, this is why I have put so much time into Diablo 3 over the years and I'm looking forward to Diablo IV.

And napping is such a time waster but it feels too damn good to pass up sometimes haha. But I also sometimes will just mindlessly surf Youtube because it's easier than having to decide on an activity.
