It was fantastic! Its so bright and animated. Its tons of fun, I hope I can play with people some time

I acknowledge its not FAIR To compare this to Turtles in Time, not only is TiT (heh) a classic, but yea its been around and very established for 25 years or so, and quite possibly the prime example of a top notch beat em up

I kept saying "oh in TiT you can do this, or this happens, etc" and its especially difficult NOT to because this game borrows alot of influence from TiT

but you have to see this game as it's own thing

now usually when you say that, its a compromise, but here its a compliment, its able TO STAND WITH TiT on even grounds with its own identity

the game was great, man

the ONLY thing of note I have to say is, while the music is great, its well made, competently made, I didn't really personally dig it that much. None of them really hit me. EXCEPT metalhead's theme

Also I was confused with the plot (LOL)
so they get the statue of liberty again, standard TiT stuff

but then...the game becomes about retrieving Krang's part? How...did we slip into that plot point? They never established that at all to my recollection that that was one of the main goals

They brought out characters I completely forgot about like Ground chuck. I was like "OH I HAD THAT TOY!" and "OH THAT GUY WAS IN TOURNAMENT FIGHTERS"

and stuff

in the NES TMNT 1, the screen where shredder kidnaps Splinter and is on the TV

they had that in this game! He even did the same finger point

I know there have been other TMNT Beat em up attempts, but they were clearly trying to ride on the nostalgia of TiT

this game was made with absolute love

hell, they made Irma recall she was Super Irma and she turned giant one time in the show lol I forgot about those

Yeah, it's a really fun game made with a lot of care and love for the franchise. I played co-op with my wife (who doesn't care about TMNT), and she had a lot of fun with it, too.

Very good game that I had a ton of fun with. Would love a sequel or DLC even

Six player mode is ridiculous chaos

The final boss totally sucks, I absolutely hate when a boss is just invincible for all of their attacks and then you get to hit them for ten seconds while they just stand there. Other than that it's a pretty good game!

My youngest daughter and I play this a few times per week, its great

I couldn't disagree more about the music. The game had some amazing tracks in it.

The biggest complaint I had was that the Taunt system completely broke the game and made it really boring (unless you chose not to use it, but really why wouldn't you?). I think they patched it, but I haven't played much since release.

It's the best TMNT game
