"Everything everywhere all at once" won just about everything. So at least it wasn't it's usual ridiculous head up their own ass level of woke.

Best actor and best supporting actor i can agree with and I'm happy with.

I dunno about best actress and best supporting actress. Jamie Lee Curtis did a good job, but I think there's better. Like even T chala's mom (the actress) did a pretty damn good (and better job) than her. Stephanie Hsu definitely has a bit more range than Curtis in that role, though somewhat annoying at times (hate to admit this).

I haven't seen a lot of female led roles to pass judgment on the best female actress role for someone better (haven't seen movies like Women Talking or Tar). i thought the performance was good, but nothing special for Michelle Yoeh. Better than Curtis though.

I saw people saying that it was probably more a career Oscar than one for that specific role and that Hsu was playing Hollywood politics. She turns down the Oscar now, but that makes her friendly with Curtis (who's Hollywood royalty) and the Academy and she can get more work later.
