We do not do no lynch here (partially because it's boring, partially because crazy lynches D1 are tradition, partially because it gets you a ton of info).

Seriously, we're still talking about possibilities and the like, with NO information to go on. And you think we should deny ourselves ANY information a lynch can tell us? Only scum would want to do that.

Lynches are the best way to get information and suggesting a No Lynch on D1 is not something pro-town.

I remember Lea in poke wars as scum being much more try hard than this. She seems to be just floating like a leaf on the wind seeing where things lead which I think is a hallmark of her town play from memory. That woman does the most when she is scum lmao

Hmm, that's fair. I remember at the start of PokeWars, Lea was relatively light on content but had a very large presence just commenting, before getting really into it later on. I find myself struggling to remember her producing much this game that made me think anything of her beyond being amusing, which has made me a little wary.

I am not sure how I feel at all about BCT basically being told to unvote by me and Chris and immediately doing so. Gonna go dig through Nick Mafia in a little while (put that on my to-do-list along with Han and Lea ISOs).

Lea had crossed my mind lately and I recently ISOed her on topic 2, actually. Lea is playing with the whimsy and snark I'd expect from Lea. Pages 1-2 in topic 2 she's serious and in pages 3-6 she's... Kinda just totally fucking around.

As far as as actual read, uh... Nope, don't have any strong inclinations yet.

Now the thing is I have to consider counter play by people I catch as scum. So maybe Lea remembers I shot her n1 there and is playing a different script. Same is possible for sheep since you know the last script didn't work out well for scum

NL gives scum a lot of control and denies town a lot of information. Unless you're playing "follow the cop", and it actually super works out, you're almost right back to where you started on day 2, just down an important town voice.

I'm thinking more of the shitpost phase when I say early on, but I'll keep this in mind when I read through. I don't think I can use her PokeWars D1 as a massive read regardless, because she definitely didn't exhibit the same behaviour in the game where she was Scum that I replaced into, just a nugget of info I've got stored.

It felt to me like Sultan's opinion was a bit forced as well though but maybe he just didn't manage to describe it very well. I feel a bit better about both Chris (who I was basically neutral on) and Crescent (who I was already sold on tbh) from the last few hours, mostly because I think their behaviour matches my thought pattern of not having any solid scum reads based on what we've gotten so far.

Am I the only person on this universe who respects death's ability to break down thoughts in a good manner? It isn't about being afraid of death because he is a dark lord but I respect death's ability as town to slap a bad argument against him around like it is nothing.

I also dont think JC making a list is in itself a problem.
But I do think its odd for him to say he loves lists when, as far as I can tell in the last couple of games, he hasn't actually posted lists when he comes back to catch up on stuff.

Maybe you can correct me on the timeline. But last game, I feel like JC made a list post around the same time, where he said us badgering Isquen was dumb, and made a comment about thinking SBell was Town. Maybe this was on the last day rather than the night before like it was this game? Because I think I pushed Isquen on that last day and he didn't show back up in time for deadline.
Point being, not sure on your memory when it as a relevant topic of last game's discussion.

Here's what I would ask MZero, what is inconsistent about what I've said? I said I had a specific outcome I was looking for with my Sheep vote. I said I don't like to vote unless I have built my own case on someone. I expressed that I didn't have enough to build a case on anyone yet. You can say I'm not fired up, but my hopes and expectations for the game don't mean I'm going to betray the rational game solving part of my brain. I would LIKE to put someone's feet to the fire if I catch them on something, but I have to first catch them on something, no?

I'm not casting aggression in a bad light! If you interpreted my question about Crescent as a criticism of her play, then I apologize for not being clear enough. I specifically said that I LIKED Crescent's early game, where she was aggressively grilling Sheep. What I pointed out was that after Sheep's claim, I felt like there was a narrative being spun that Sheep buckled under no pressure and didn't respond to any of the people voting for him. I made a post where I went through and actually found all the posts of Sheep directly responding to the people voting for him. It felt like to me that where Crescent was being righteous in her aggression before, when I saw her keep going on a narrative I didn't think was true, my sensors went off as "this person is still pushing when I don't think they should be." Crescent then clarified that it wasn't that Sheep wasn't responding, but the quality of Sheep's responses that she had an issue with. I'm not sure I agree with that evaluation, but it was enough for me to back off and watch for the moment.

Correct. Death timezones make it more likely he misses random things but it is hard to miss votes on you.
