Imagine a different timeline where Peggy died in the skydiving episode, and the entire rest of the series was about life after Peggy.

That would suck the family part of the show was the best part.

Even though Peggy was a bit annoying, she was still an important part of the show

No way Peggy is one of the best characters in the show

Funny enough if you consider her character growth it was technically the episode old Peggy died and when we started to get that very annoying Peggy who is mostly full of herself.

King of the Hill would have been 1000% better if she died in that episode.

I think they said she landed in "soft mud "
But I am pretty sure their explanation doesn't stand up to real world physics. She would have died for sure, if it wasn't a cartoon

62% is a pretty big lead. And a poll on this site doesn't mean much. Lots of people here will gladly kill off any character they slightly dislike, even if it would make the series worse as a whole.

People have survived like this in freak occurrences before. There are several examples of people just outright surviving a fall from a plane or some such.

I question that. Look at people who jumped out of the world trade center during 9/11. Not a single one survived that, but yet people falling from literally the stratosphere survive? I don't understand that.

Morbid topic, but the people jumping from the WTC were landing on concrete. These people survived by landing in bushes, on trees/snow, or certain kinds of dirt or rocks.

Plus two giant buildings collapsed on top of them.
