Zombies were so cool back then. An open world zombie capcom game????? I would play for hours. Even the demo

Honestly, Dead Rising was one of a kind.

Having access to an entire shopping mall's suite of shops and goodies to go full on murder-zone on zombies with was truly something else. The photography angle was neat at the time too.

Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 are some of my favourite games to be honest, they just nail the fun factor really well.

Project Zomboid is my go-to zombie game now though. Might not have the stupid-fun factor that DR has, but the depth mate, the DEPTH.

It was a great game that never got the credit it deserved.

I was playing it a few days ago.
I ignored Backup For Brad until day 3. Then I bought Kindell, the gun store trio and Gil to fight Carlito 1. It was near the end of a new file that had the 53594 kills and just needed to get an ending for the Mega Buster.
It really is one of a kind. I have fewer nice things to say about each sequel.

Edit: Also you know what I miss? How jarring it was seeing bosses in the wrong place for the first time in infinity mode. Paul in the Entrance Plaza, Sniper Family in the park, Sean in Wonderland Plaza, Adam in Paradise Plaza, Kent in the warehouse, Brock on the helipad.

My former favorite series. I 100%ed DR including 7 day survivor and DR2 including getting the TIR Moosehead that required 1 million TIR points from that online mode. And DR2 Off the Record with those multiplayer achievements.

Terror is Reality linking in the single-player from a money perspective was a really nice touch.

Of course, it wasn't needed, the right combo of magazines meant gambling in casinos would cover all of your monetary needs, but when the game first game out and the strats weren't down just yet, TIR was awesome when full of people.

First two were outstanding, couldn't bring myself to finish 3 or 4. I probably did 20+ playthroughs of 2.

I remember when I first got that game I was still gaming on a SDTV, and I couldn't do any of the side missions because the text was illegible on that screen. IIRC it was a pretty common complaint
