In many states, the head coach of the biggest state college is the highest paid public employee.

Michigan fan here and I hate the Harbaugh drama every offseason. Hope this is settled quickly, whatever the outcome.

College athelets should be paid and fully allowed to sell their image and likeness.

If a student makes a scientific contribution or publishes a paper they should be allowed to sell their publication and work.

If your labor brings revenue to the School, you deserve your share of that revenue.

These are fully grown adults who are being exploited for their bodies and minds.

A top few college coaches make more than the NFL average of $6 million but the vast majority don't. And the highest paid NFL coaches make more than the top college coaches.

But setting aside the money the NFL carries a lot more prestige and a healthy chunk of even famously successful college coaches flame out pretty quick when they try at the NFL level.

There is also the fact that NFL coaches don't have to deal with the college bullshit that college coaches do. You aren't out there buttering up high schoolers to join your program and all other sorts of recruiting. Of course the flip of that is the power dynamic is very different. You aren't coaching a bunch of unpaid kids, where your authority is absolute. You are coaching a bunch of millionaire adults, many making more money than you. The team can absolutely turn on you if you don't manage the locker room well and that's that. I mean look no further than the short-lived dictatorship, famed college coach Urban Meyer did when he coached the Jaguars.

I dont think hes really after money at this point. He seems to be in it for the glory and theres no greater glory than winning a Super Bowl.

The defense gave up a lot of points (obviously not all of them), and Harbaugh doesnt call the D. I hold him responsible for some questionable choices inside the 10 yard line on offense though.

There is a zero percentage chance that the fact that his brother beat him in the Super Bowl doesn't weight on him.
