Any new excuse for more price gouging, huh? The shoplifting came as a response from the stores violating the social contract with the customers and theyre getting a taste of their own medicine. Slash CEO pay and bring the prices back to where they should be. With that said, Walmart is literally exponentially cheaper than the other local stores in my city (mostly Kroger and other stores that they bought out.) If Walmart can turn a profit on Stacys Pita Chips at $6, how can Kroger justify charging $9? How can you argue that this is anything but price gouging? But Im not going to steal from the one store that charges less when other stores are cartoonishly expensive. More power to the shoplifters (who are only stealing food). You cannot tell the corporations that this is not okay otherwise. ... Copied to Clipboard!
