GT was mostly anti feats here demonstrating that dance fusion had a far shorter time limit than potara. DB's modus operandi is to declare the winner to be the person with the mathematical advantage even if that mathematical advantage is like 100000000001 vs 100000000000 unless some kind of personality flaw would change things. If you had some kind of a battle simulator and ran trials gogeta would win about 50% of them.
