I was done but then I'm like "Yeah, so and so would like that" while browsing Amazon and adding more

I usually just buy an Amazon gift card for my mom and brother

Been done for weeks.

Been all done for a week or two, just waiting for a few things to be delivered still.

All done. I got the last present in the mail yesterday. Though I'm probably going to set up my youngest son's Kindle fire before I wrap it so it can be charged and ready to go as soon as he opens it.

I'm depressed over it. Decided to get some magazine subscriptions for the nieces/nephews. Figured it would be nice to pick up the current issue to give them. Things I learned today.

1. There are almost no bookstores left anywhere around where I live, which was the plan to find a copy.
2. Big box stores near me have a crappy magazine selection. Taking out all the fashion and women's magazines, a majority of what they carry is hunting and auto related (I'm around suburban Chicago) so not what I was expecting.
3. Bit the bullet and headed to the bookshop in the mall. In the process of tearing down one of the old anchor stores to build apartments. The piles of dirt and half demolished building makes it look like the whole mall is gone if looking at it from a certain direction.
4. Books A Million is a joke. Half the floor space is dedicated to anime and board games. Only 6 feet for horror books, but JRR Tolkien has 3 feet dedicated to him. Sci-Fi/Fantasy section only had two books by Piers Anthony.
5. Magazine section had porn mags on the top shelf, with a larger selection to choose from than stuff aimed at kids/teens if you ignore the anime. What happened to having to keep a straight face and ask the cashier to pull those for you from behind the counter.

I'll never understand people who finish their shopping before the week of Christmas. Like how do you know your loved ones and what they like so well?

I do this every year and I'm still stray shopping, even though I'm technically done.

Going good until some guy told me to bring my shopping cart back to the thing. I said I don't do that Freudian implications of penetration so I will instead be resting it on a curb instead of inserting anything. The patriarchy is out of control these days

I'm not sure if I'm going get anyone anything. I guess I could get something for my niece and nephew. I could get my brother a sword. Since I'm into collecting those now.
