Don't Diablo heroes always meet horrific fates in the next games? Seems like each game, you find out the previous player characters had bad endings

The Diablo 3 heroes were supposed to be the strongest we ever played as in the series. But I don't know if they are safe

There's also some good lore in Diablo Immortal as it occurs between D2 and D3, if you care. Obviously it doesn't affect anything, but I believe you meet Xul, Isendra, and probably the druid. I don't remember the others. The main story is pretty fun as a hook, it's the end game that's shit.

So maybe the D3 heroes will be fine.
