Kelly, where his crime and music are both sexual in nature, making it hard to disassociate. In Kanye's case it's the opposite, his earlier stuff is from a guy who clearly died off a long time ago. Kanye also denounced his own earlier music. So, giving it plays works against him lol. Kanye still shifted mainstream hip hop in the early 2000s and opened the door for some of your favorite artists today.
