And she mentioned it wasn't intended to just be lady pirates either, but I have this feeling the film would have taken some heat anyway because we can't have ladies being badass anymore for some reason. I can, because the entire franchise is circling the drain financially and creatively. Depp was great in the good movies but he couldn't save the later ones by himself. Them deciding to just axe the franchise isn't actually that surprising from a money reasoning alone, although the fresh idea they axed did sound like it could have been fresh enough to be interesting, ah well. --- Mario and his best friend Green Mario were introduced in Super Mario Bros for the NES in 1982. ...
