I started working out after my brother so I just went with his routine to keep things simple and build some camaraderie. He does a bro split with Monday: Chest and triceps Tuesday: back and biceps wednesday: shoulders and forearms thursday: legs friday: calisthenics its working well for him but we have very different goals. Hes focusing on aesthetics, Im focusing on strength. Currently my goal is to do 1/2/3/4, meanwhile he doesnt deadlift or overhand press at all and he barely benches. for him, the shoulders and forearms day is great because that kind of thing can really make a physique pop out. But for me I really dont need to be spending an entire day on that. I could be perfectly fine just doing a couple sets of Arnold presses on chest day and a couple sets of wrist curls on bicep day. So i I was thinking of doing a modified PPL split that keeps the calisthenics day on Friday cuz its so great for you and it would keep some camaraderie.
