When no one was looking, Ray Buffer stole $600 worth of comic books.
That's as many as sixty tens.
And that's terrible.

I pray god will curse the writer, as the writer has cursed the world with this beautiful, stupendous creation, terrible in its simplicity, irresistible in truth

I saw Ray Buffer at a comic book store in San Diego yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didnt want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, Oh, like youre doing now? I was taken aback, and all I could say was Huh? but he kept cutting me off and going huh? huh? huh? and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen comic books in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like Sir, you need to pay for those first. At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the comics and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually to prevent any electrical infetterence, and then turned around and winked at me. I dont even think thats a word. After she scanned each comic and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

It's amazing how some people who aren't poor and have decently lucrative careers do stupid shit and commit petty theft and ruin their reputations or even the rest of their lives. Seems to reflect a sense of entitlement and possibly past criminal tendancies. Like why? $600, while a sizeable loss, especially to someone who doesn't make a ton like a comic book vendor, is still a drop in the bucket when you consider earnings to be made over a lifetime. Imagine how much this actor got for numerous acting gigs, even small ones. This guy honestly deserves the worst. I get stealing from a huge faceless multibillion dollar corporation, but otherwise it's fucked up scumbags who resort to this kind of shit.
