I am 62 so its not as bad as it sounds but still thats like 28 bmi. Oh well, guess Im going to the gym for a reason. Id better quit drinking as well at this point.

I quit drinking last week because I hit 220 lol. I intend to keep it up for at least 2 months depending on how much weight I lose

I was just measured at 240 lb, 60. I wouldnt call myself fat, but my gut has definitely grown the last couple years. Have a muscular frame which helps.

Nobody knows what any amount of weight looks like tbh, I was probably 350 or so and people would regularly guess that I weighed 240 at most. Now that Im just kinda thicc at ~175 people constantly ask me if Im eating enough when my bmi is like 0.2 away from being overweight again lol.

weighed myself the other day and was surprised at how much I weighed as well. was actually way less than I thought. I have a bit of a belly so I always thought I was like around the 170-180 range but nope, 157

Good on you, Im not working out to lose weight, just trying to get strong. I do very little cardio, I mostly just lift. Maybe in the future Ill start trying for aesthetics but I want a really solid strong foundation before I start trying to cut and bulk and all that
