Not a beer connoisseur, but Blue Moon was one of the beers recommended to me when I just started drinking and it helped convince me that not all beer was undrinkable trash and to try to expand my palate.

So I'll give it that at least. >_>

Definitely try an Erdinger Weissbier (and then their Weissbier Dunkel if you want some cocoa notes) or 1664 Blanc if you want to try some (better) beers in the same style.

Blue Moon is great but it can lead to a weird hang over. Same with Shocktop. I stopped drinking them because of that. I use to love Blue Moon too.

Sierra Nevada brewery makes an Imperial Stout called Narwhal and it's a decent way to get sauced on 12oz beer.

But their Bigfoot Barley Wine is one of the best things I've ever tasted.
