The more I play ESO, the more I long for the enjoyable jank of good ol' ES4. The dungeons, the spellcrafting, the Shivering Isles, the acrobatics, and every NPC being voiced by one of six people. I don't think I've played it in ten years.

I picked it back up for the first time in a good few years last December and I've been playing it on and off since then. It's gr8.

I found a nice modding setup as well. I used to do full on FCOM but got a bit tired of it, so I tried an experience that's supposed to be more 'vanilla plus' than an overhaul and I find it really nice. It just rebalances a lot of stuff with the levelling so you don't end up with really spongey enemies in the late game and rebalances levelled loot so that high levelled equipment remains rare in the late game so finding good loot still feels satisfying. I've been wanting to play Oblivion too, but I'd want to use mods. And I was too lazy to learn modding. So I just played Morrowind instead and only installed very basic mods that don't change a ton of stuff. I stalled out on that a couple months ago, but I'll return hopefully. Didn't get very far in it.

Wish they would remaster it. With Morrowind too. Give es3 achievements.

I have it on steam and as much as I really want to play it, the lack of controller support is too much of a turnoff.

I seriously need to get better at modding.

I miss wrapping myself in chameleon-enchanted armor like a boss. Definitely remember going through the main (?) storyline where you visit some moth priests in seclusion and constantly save scumming until they gave chameleon rings. Forget if you had to kill 'em or steal 'em, but when you want near-perfect invisibility, morals are a little flexible, haha.
