My previous job was work-from-home. One of the few positives about it was that I could do this. I was [this word was deleted at the request of a moderator or administrator] 24/7 from like... early 2018 until early this year, apart from the odd short time when I didn't have any.

Now I'm doing an in-person job again and while I could probably do it, still do a good job, and get away with it as long as I wasn't caught in the act of [this word was deleted at the request of a moderator or administrator], I'd rather not risk it. (My boss at the work-from-home job flat out would not have cared as long as I got the work done. The problem with that job was mainly that especially towards the end, "the work" was just being a buffer between him and clients that he'd pissed off or let down.)

I cant stand working high, I hate it. Makes the day go forever. When the pandemic hit I qualified for unemployment for 8 months and then decided to spend a large chunk of my savings on another 16 months of free time and it was fucking awesome, I was literally stoned for 2 whole years

then I quit weed and wont go back for a while. I had my fun

I think every worker bee should be granted one year of paid workless freedom halfway through their working years

It did wonders for my mental health
