look, its all well and go to help out another country, but man I dunno

what do you UK people think of this? Good? Bad?

Wouldnt sending money out of the country help with internal inflation? Like taxing people and then literally burning the money would reduce inflation, but Im not sure on how sending it to Ukraine works.

I think the money we're giving to ukraine is the least of the worries when it comes to the upcoming recession.

It's more important that the UK stops Russia than it is for the citizens to have cheap energy

We were heading into deep financial shit for a myriad of reasons anyway, so it's not like things would have been peachy if not for Putin's invasion.

And even if it was solely down to the Ukrainian situation, then so be it. It's the right thing to do, it's as simple as that.

A lot of people don't realize just how royally fucked Europe is going to be this winter with a natural gas shortage. Gonna be like the Texas freeze from a couple years ago, but all winter long.
