Tried to use joycons again the other day, so depressing

There's no gyro, which can sometimes be annoying.

I'm about to buy like, my third pair of joycons (not including the pair that came with the console) because Nintendo are fucking morons and don't know how to design shit.

It took me awhile to figure out why some level in Mom Hid My Game was unsolvable.

You're assuming that the joy-cons weren't intentionally designed to break

My daughter could go through joycons fast while my wife still went through them at a slower rate. Theyve had no issues with the split pad pros and my daughter loves the eevee one

Well, I try to be more optimistic than that, and this is coming from a proclaimed doomer coomer.

Yeah once I finally got a split pad pro I never looked back.

Obviously the only downside is no gyro and that they don't have their own batteries.

I still need to grab a split pad pro at some point. Only negative I'm concerned about is lack of vibration.

Ive never in my life wanted my controllers to vibrate and have turned it off at any chance i get....

I can't hold it very well in handheld mode, but I got an aftermarket case my switch fits into with comfortable side handles. The shoulder buttons are still too close on the joycon but I'm not playing a lot of games on switch that require really fast accurate button presses.

Don't get me wrong, I wish they had vibration, but if I had to choose between vibration and analog sticks that are actually usable in games like first person shooters, I think I'd pick the latter
