I haven't played my Switch in a bit, but my new job has a longer commute and I'd like to dig in to a new game.

Really I'm looking forward to Mario+Rabbids 2 and Persona 5 hitting in October, but that's two months away still.

You sure a 100 hour JRPG is the thing to get you out of this gaming rut?

I'm going with Rise. Pretty easy to pick up and play (assuming you've played another in the series before), and no big story commitment. Otherwise, those are all good choices I think.

I haven't. But that reminds me I meant to include Monster Hunter Stories 2 in this poll.

Rise will have a little bit of a learning curve, and it helps a lot to have a friend to play with, but it's definitely one of the easiest to get into.

Imo Monster Hunter is a game you'd want to play with others so if you're mainly playing on your commute you won't really get the most out of it. It is a ton of fun though.

I've been playing DQ XI on gamepass and it's a blast. It's a great pick up and play game. You can play 30 minutes and feel like you did a lot of stuff. And if for whatever reason you stop playing for a while the game greets you with a short recap every time you play which is nice.

If you haven't played Stardew Valley yet that's a no brainer time waster.

I've gone through multiple cycles with it, first on Xbox, then on Switch. Really enjoyed it, but I don't think I need more of it.

Spiritfarer pulled me out of a near year rut, just a suggestion if you are looking for something inexpensive and very different.

From your list I picked Monster Hunter, Rise was my first one and I played with friends and we sank like 200 hours into it and had a blast.

Live a Live is really great and would probably be a quicker game to finish up than anything on the list other than Bayonetta.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is great if you like JRPG's. It will last you a long while too, if you do all of the side quests.
