wanted to do an orc war mage thing that wore heavy armour and used an axe in one hand and destruction magic in the other, but now that ive unlocked the perk that lets me cast while wearing heavy armour im starting to realize i dont actually like casting in this game and want to just duel wield

[cheats are enabled and i can download a mod for this if there is one]

Max out the skill and prestige it to get all the points back >_>

If you are on PC then just use console commands to remove a perk and give yourself whatever you wanted instead. The wiki's will have the exact one and codes you need.

That, I don't know of any way to get back the points on health and whatnot but you'll be fine without changing it.

its my first time playing this game + im using requiem mod to make the game harder so im going quite slow

i put most of my skill points into magicka though, because orcs have a low mana pool

Console commands can edit your magicka etc as well, if you want to fix it.

You level up often enough that just swapping over to upgrading something else will cover the deficit pretty quickly.

But yeah, the console would work.

Yeah. That's what the ">_>" was for lol. I was in VR, so I played around with mechanics a lot. But I didn't start prestiging skills until like 200 hours in. At 250 I think Ive done like 4-5 skills. I also didn't go put my way to grind skills tho. I let the cards fall where they may while just being myself in the game

and one more question, for a duel wield fighter (not assassin) build, would i want some skill in restoration to make me tankier because i cant block?

You could download a mod to block while dual wielding as well, but restoration can be useful for sure if you don't want to spam potions/food.

i dont want to do that, would just feel like cheating to me. thanks for the advice though

magic is the best. I always play a no-armor wearing magician and I don't wear shoes in that game. i go really fast.

sometimes you have to wear gloves, iirc

heal with one hand, lightning with the other!
