Pitlord_Special 04/20/22 10:33:44 PM #2:	I read the books and watched the show with my parents who hadn't read them. I probably ended up having to explain what was going on and why this/that happened more than I should have needed to which to me indicates there were some issues with how it was written to an audience that doesn't know the source material. Fans of the book tend to hate it, while non fans enjoyed it up until the last episode, which seems to be almost universally disliked.
