Gamespot's 10/10 game from 2000 returns with improved character models, new quality of life features, trophy support and....worse framerate?

Overall I thought this game still holds up although I forgot how melancholy the story is right from the get go. The 2X speed and auto battle really help though in making battles as painless as possible and there's also a battle boost if you really want to speed through things. This was my first time really doing any of the NG+ so all the extra endings was new to me.

The main requirements for the platinum includes:

• Recruiting all party members and having them all in your party at once
• Getting 99 level up stars
• Seeing all 11 endings
• Using both Triple Techs
• Getting all 15 Window frames

You'll pretty much get all the others just going for those. I forgot to lock in Harle so instead of finishing this all up in 3 playthroughs I had to cut my 3rd playthrough short just to lock her in, then speedrun a 4th playthrough to get everyone in my party at the very end of the game when you get the Chrono Cross.

Radical Dreamers is also included in this package and while I don't care much for visual novels and it doesn't have any trophies attached to it I still enjoyed my 4 hour playthrough of this. You can see how it lays the groundwork for what would be end up becoming Chrono Cross and it even lays the groundwork for what would be some of Chrono Cross's bigger plot twists and make them seem less like they came out of nowhere.

How do you lock in characters again? I remember going for the all party members at once thing before but I feel like it didn't work completely.

Finishing off Time Devourer and starting another NG+

so to lock in Harle you need to do for the brief period she's in the party

I never bothered with the Continue+ setting so I thought I could bring my 3rd playthroughs content into my 2nd to finish the game off, but I guess that only works for an original NG playthrough.

Ah yeah it must have been Harle because you can't have her in the endgame
