A lot of this is gonna be based on emotion, mostly anger. So it might be naive, stupid whatever, I don't care.

I HATE that democracy is threatened like this. I'm now feeling willing to make sacrifices to protect our democracy. For example I would like them to cut Russia out of everything, yeah we will prob have problems with electricity, gas etc. I can live with that. I don't need my computers and phones, I don't need to lie on my couch binging hundreds of shows. I can go hungry, get cold, sick, lose family and friends or my life. As long as that fucking asshole doesn't stomp down on our choices and democracy. And I don't want them to scare us.

Now this might prob change when it actually comes down to it and my mental state, laziness and god forbid cowardice takes over. But my feelings right now are so strong that I hope I can manage this shit.

If and I don't think it will, but if they start handing out weapons here in Sweden so we can protect us like in Ukraine, I want to, need to do that, despite no training or physical fitness for that. I feel I have a responsibility to my grandparents who were involved in the Finnish Winter War and contiunation wars their contribution to stand against Russia.

I am so angry, so sad, but there is a new positive feeling I have that I cannot explain or put a finger on. I dunno how to explain it. But this is affecting me much more than I thought it would.

Either way this is gonna change my life however this goes.

Honestly I'd be fine with a complete stoppage of all trading, all diplomacy, and all interactions with Russia until Putin or his successor approaches the leaders of the actual civilized world with an unconditional surrender.

Doing that will hurt us, but I dont care, rather live in poverty and hardship than under their/his will.

War gives intergenerational trauma. I don't think I can even know how you're feeling with survivors from the Finnish Winter War in your family, but it's natural that you keep scars from that. It really is an awful crime against humanity.
I have friends with family in Ukraine right now, and other friends with family or extended family in for example Syria and Tigray. Same there, I can't even begin to fathom what they're going through, it's truly horrendous. War is the greatest evil.

He brought up great points and I agree mostly.
The globalisation and economy is in my opinion without any real knowledge a big part of why this could happen. Its not just Putins fault. It is super complex I know.
