Lots of parents these days send their kids to sports camps and invest in high quality equipment for them. I didnt realize it had gotten that popular dude wtf so it was an eye opening experience for me. I really shouldn't have been that surprised though. During highschool LoL was huge and a few people in my school were part of a team. They got to miss several days of school because they went to Tokyo to compete against other teams (they did horribly iirc). Would be nice to see a poll that also counts digital sports as sports. I do think Gen Z are just as into competive scenes like previous gens. --- I'm a Taurus I like collecting headphones and iems. My fave game of all time is DMC 3 SE on PC w/ style switch mod. I also find it kinda cringe to wear jerseys and stuff, I used to think it was fine, but I'm not trying to make sports my personality. They make it harder and harder to watch the games legitimately. They're so stuffed with stoppages like commercials and pointless replay reviews. Football and hockey are giving people brain damage.
