They adapted the Dragon Quest mmo to a single player game. Sounds amazing right? But no word on a release outside Japan

I want this and also would love ff11 and ff14 to get single player adaptations too in the west

You are right but the game is still in Japanese.

I think its been redesigned to play like a normal rpg. It's just using the plot from the mmo

It's one thing to watch something in another language but imagine trying to figure out wtf you're supposed to go next or even what button does what or what an item is.

FF11 basically does with trusts/alter egos

This. I used to import Japanese games, but it got too difficult trying to make sense of what to do. I cant imagine playing an rpg that way.

There are a ton of them, right? A potion is a potion, buddy. Where to go next? The place the game lets you go. . .Is that Water creature weak against Fire or Thunder?

It's also using chibi characters and such, which no one asked for.

Private servers preserved MMOs properly.

I actually learned Japanese originally to play Dragon Quest V because it never released in America. Ripped out parts of my SNES with a pliers to make the cartridge fit. It sucks the series is still struggling to get popular outside of Japan.
