I said Im usually size 10-11 depending if its bowling shoes, ice skating shoes, or boots, etc..

he gave me an attitude and gave me size 12s. They hurt cuz they were so loose. Afterwards, my buddy told me youre supposed to give at least 10 bucks before they hand you the shoes. So you get proper fitting and the nicest shoes they have available

$10 is the rate for a family owned rink. If it's more like a chain, or a big complex, you're supposed to tip $40.
