Instead of Italian and Puerto Eico, make the couple Hasidic Jew and Muslim. I was a little surprised they just did a straight retelling. It would have been interesting if they changed the ethnicities for variety. Besides, in 2021, the ones they have in the original are not really at odds with each other anymore ...
