Lower end, I wouldn't completely rule it out but unlikely.

Upper end, not a chance. I'd go a fair bit above my age, but not that far above it.

I kinda feel like the whole "half your age plus 7" only really works for people in the mid-teens to late-20s bracket, and drops off after that. I came up with a better one in a past topic but don't remember what it was.

25, is what I get, but I'd date a 24 year old maybe even a 23 year old it depends

Agreed. Like a lot of 'internet rules' stuff, it's pretty nonsensical.

And I voted lower end only, because going in the other direction would have me hook up with a woman in her 70s and that's obviously a no.

I only date women age 18-30, anyone older is just for casual fun.

It would be 23. That's probably about as low as Id go. And they'd have to be an old soul to actually want anything to do with dating me anyway lol.

Eh, I don't go by that formula. I'm 32, so for the lower age range, I prefer age 25+. Since if they're younger than that, the odds increase that our maturity levels and life stages won't match up.

I'll go much higher for upper age though. There's a 44 year old at my office who I would gladly date if she didn't think of me like a son. That 12 year gap wouldn't bother me at all.
