I see a blind guy on the sidewalk, with his hand raised, I suppose to signal he needs help crossing the street. I go over and ask if he needs help, and he does, so he very gently grabs my arm. I try to grab him a little harder to make sure he follows me, and he yells at me "YOU DONT GRAB LIKE THAT" Which, I do understand I should have asked first. I get it...But then I tried to apologize profusely because I didn't mean to upset the guy, and he yelled at me for that too. This may sound rude, but I don't care. If I see this guy standing on the sidewalk with his hand raised again, I am not going to help him. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Dont let someone elses past traumas traumatize you. You learned from that experience. Use that knowledge to continue to do the right thing. Next time you see that individual, help him, and help heal both of you. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Some people can be off for whatever reason. I would however be less inclined to help anyone who is being rude to me while I'm trying to be nice.
