This is a late 1940's Omega Seamster Cosmic. This is a very complicated watch. In addition to the seconds subdial, it is an annual calendar. The day of the week and the month are in the center, while a fourth hand shows the day of the month on the outer ring. Damn, this thing switches over at precisely 11:55PM(most mechanical watches do not change date at exactly midnight), and that day of the month hand jumps quick. This man's grandfather, a doctor from Ohio who got paid in chickens during the great depression, was rocking one hell of an annual calendar on his wrist back in the day. You ones...
