The only ones that said anything negative about him were Patterson and Irvin. Both were barely there while King had already been there 5 years. Edit: Irvin for two years and Patterson for one. Plus he was good. Were 3-2, feeling great for the season and this just has to be put behind us. We could have been 4-1 if this distraction didn't happen. Gruden went out as a looser. Was so excited when he came back to the Raiders 4 years ago, and it looked like we were finally getting in the rhythm this year, but then this happened. He has to go for the good of the team. Including four key executives and former team president Marc Badain. Now its starting to make sense.
