Tired of seeing people die because they believed this dumb shit. Tired of seeing people end up with long term symptoms that may never go away because they believed this dumb shit.

The US should be past this crap already, but no. Millions of people believe and are spreading easily disprovable and blatantly false information.

Just had an anti-vaxxer try to claim the clinical trials for the mRNA vaccines are still going on when they were very publicly concluded in late 2020 before getting emergency use authorization. This shit is tiring. When will the madness end?

The US alone is at over 733,000 covid deaths, so yeah, it's pretty fucking serious. Not to mention all of the people who severe covid infections and survived, but are now living with fucked up lungs and other issues that may never go away.

People act mock offended/holier than thou about things like /r/HermanCainAwards (I think that's what it's called) and similar things but even though I don't personally engage in that, I understand why people are venting and frustrated about it. Is there a degree to which people are being brainwashed by conservative media? Absolutely. Are they learning their lesson or turning away from those influences? Absolutely not.

Lots of people made "the deal" where they would socially distance, get the vaccine, and then things would return to normal. Society as a whole hasn't lived up to that so of course frustration takes over.

The one guy on CE has the best tactic for promoting the vaccine. He often talks about how covid destroyed his dick. I feel like if that was promoted more, we'd have fewer folks bad mouthing the vaccine because they're desperate to save their erections.

Every night on the local news they show the number of new deaths in the state that day and it's just so frustrating to know that just about every one of them wouldn't have happened if the people had just gotten a couple shots.

At this point I honestly don't give two shits what happens to them themselves. They brought it on themselves and have no one else to blame.

I care about people they spread it to who can't be vaccinated (or are, but end up in the tiny minority that still get seriously sick anyway despite it). I care about people who miss out on healthcare because some selfish fuckwit is taking up the space in the system. But the antivaxxers themself? Let them fucking die, it's self-inflicted, no sense caring about someone who refuses to spend 10 fucking minutes protecting themself.
