that probably explains the incident when i had a grilled cheese burrito.
ended up shitting with that one. there was so much diarrhea.

there's the chili cheese burrito incident.
vomited from that (wasn't from taco bell).

even my brother warned me not to eat at the local taco bell (saving myself from getting sick).

That doesn't mean all taco bells do this, I've never gotten sick or had diarrhea after eating taco bell.

Yet I've gotten sick after eating Little Cesars pizza and other places.

Hate on Taco Bell all you want, the food is good. I love the AM crunchwrap, the regular crunchwrap, the Supreme tacos but they got rid of the double decker taco and other items i liked.

Lucky him, Taco Bell corporate will probably make him the new manager while they take the old manager out back and have him shot for pulling this kind of bullshit that will get them investigated by the state health department and possibly a federal investigation as well company wide.

I worked at Taco Bell for 2 years. We never re-tagged anything. All meats were good for 4 hours after being pulled. Sometimes we'd use meat for a little longer than that, like 4 1/2 hours, but nothing like what this post is suggesting.

I've worked in the food industry all my life. Yes, this happens quite often. Yes I've been a manager at different restaurants.

1. If you're an honest working manager, you won't make a bonus.
- its sad to live in a world where a company expectations are so high that one has to cheat the system just to get by.

2. There's a difference between shelf life and expired. Shelf life is what determines the quality of the product. It doesnt mean its not edible. Expired means its no longer edible and can actually get someone sick.
- when a food product reaches its shelf life, it still has about 7 days before its actually expired. More often than not, members of the management team will simply replace the dates with new dates, saving food cost and controllable income.

In a perfect world, none of this should be happening. Its unbelievable to think companies expect their workers to work and act like in a perfect world. NOT HAPPENING. They always blame training as a reason for retention. No its not, and they know it!

Yeah, and they were pretty strict about it too. The beans and rice were good for 8 hours, and nacho cheese for 12. It's kept heated and hydrated the entire time it's in use. If the beans star to dry, we add a little 200 degree water and mix to rehydrate. It was a nice place to work.

I love the AM crunchwrap, the regular crunchwrap,

years ago the regular crunchwrap was a reasonable price i could easily get one of those and a grande soft taco (all for under 5$).

there was one more item but i seemed to forgotten what it was.

Am crunchwrap is also good but they stopped serving breakfast in my town only the town about 15 miles away is the only option and it's hard to get there without a car.
