He's caught covid before and once the vaccines were available, got vaccinated, right? Unless they tweak it to produce spike proteins like the ones from a variant that's mutated a bunch there probably isn't much of a reason for him to get a booster.

There is steadily mounting evidence suggesting that prior Covid infection is NOT providing the immunity a lot of people think it does.

Those long term side-effects that are constantly used as a counterpoint to the "99%survival rate" rhetoric? Yeah, most of those side effects are actually making people LESS capable of fighting off future infections.

As far as antibody production and memory, past infections and vaccinations are pretty similar. And both the vaccine and the type of covid he got are older versions. There'd be little reason to get yet another dose of the same shit, while a booster shot designed around a new variant that has had a bunch of mutations to the spike protein would be pretty useful.
