and no, i dont mean that in the stupid "if youre an arachnophobe, then you must secretly want to be a spider" way.

but in the sense that everyone has a dream deep inside them and most people never go for it. but trans people do go for that dream. and that makes them angry. youre not supposed to follow your dreams. they chose not to, and continue to choose not to. they chose to do what society told them was acceptable and what society told them they were good enough for. and rather than self evaluate, they just lash out angrily.

if no but hateful to yourself due to it, you have internalized transphobia. which doesnt make you a bad person

Hey, I just want to point out that tc has talked with me and been through some gender identity stuff recently. So it would be appreciated if you didn't try and bring that stuff up unless we get to an impasse situation like those times. It's tough and flipping and changing or evolving viewpoints is part of gender understanding.

I mean there are a lot of reasons someone can come to hate a sexual minority group, but in the US (I assume that's where you are) I think religious conservatism (and their conservative political movements anti-LGBT values) is probably the biggest factor.

It certainly does take courage to openly admit to being trans, certainly a lot more than people who hate trans people for being different.
